Thank you for applying to become a Home Spotless Flex Cleaner. Please review the policies below. These guidelines explain how the platform works, how payouts are issued, and what is required to maintain active standing.

1. Application Status

Your application is under review. Most decisions are made within 1–2 business days.


A confirmation email will be sent once your account is approved.

2. Payouts and Payment Setup

After you complete your first job, you will receive an email invitation to set up your payout method.
Available payment methods:

  • ACH Direct Deposit
  • NOVO Payments Card

Payments are sent securely through NOVO Payments.

3. Job Completion Requirements

To receive payout, all cleaners must verify job completion using the following methods:

Photo Verification (Required)
Clear, accurate photos of the completed areas must be uploaded after every job. These photos confirm the scope was completed.

Client Review
Clients may leave a rating and feedback. High ratings lead to faster payouts.

4. Payout Schedule

Payments are issued after job completion and verification.

Jobs Completed with Photos
Payout released within 3 business days.

Jobs Completed with Photos + 5-Star Review
Payout released the next business day.

Jobs Completed with No Photos
A manual review is required. Payout released within 7 business days.

Example
Job completed Monday → Paid Thursday
Job completed Wednesday → Paid Monday

5. Chargebacks, Refunds, and Payout Holds

Home Spotless is the Merchant of Record and handles all customer payment disputes. Cleaners never pay chargeback fees.

However, payouts may be reduced or held when the dispute is caused by cleaner actions.

When the Cleaner May Be Held Financially Responsible

A payout may be delayed, reduced, or denied for the following:

  • Not completing the job
  • Marking a job complete when work was incomplete
  • Not submitting photo proof
  • Sending an unauthorized helper or person to the job
  • No-show or late arrival
  • Entering a job without required supplies
  • Customer refund issued due to cleaner performance
  • Repeated complaints for the same job
  • Platform misuse or conduct violations

Standard Payout Hold Timelines

  • 14 days for incomplete or disputed jobs
  • 30 days for refund-related investigations
  • 60 days for active bank chargebacks
    (Excludes weekends and holidays)

6. Earnings Potential

High-performing cleaners can earn up to $850 per day depending on:

  • Number of jobs accepted
  • Home sizes
  • Quality of work
  • Reliability
  • Ability to provide photo proof
  • Professionalism and preparedness

Reliable cleaners with consistent 5-star reviews earn the highest volume of jobs.

7. Cleaning Supplies Required

Cleaners are required to bring all necessary cleaning supplies. Customers expect you to arrive fully prepared.

Recommended supplies include:

  • All-purpose cleaner
  • Floor cleaner
  • Bleach
  • Disinfectant
  • Glass cleaner
  • Mop and bucket
  • Vacuum cleaner
  • Dustpan and broom
  • Paper towels
  • Oven cleaner
  • Stainless steel cleaner

8. Dress Code

Dress professionally and comfortably. Clothing should be clean, presentable, and appropriate for entering customer homes.

9. Job Availability

Jobs appear in the Claim tab on a first come, first served basis.
If jobs are not available at the moment, check back regularly. New jobs appear throughout the day.

10. Cancellations and Fees

Cancellations affect customer experience and job availability. The following fees apply in the United States:

  • 48+ hours before job: No fee
  • 24–48 hours before job: $15
  • 4–24 hours before job: $25
  • Under 4 hours before job: $45
  • Failure to arrive (no-show): $55
  • Platform misuse or misconduct: $99
  • Account closure administrative fee: $99

11. Safety

Your safety is important. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable at any time:

  • Trust your judgment
  • Leave the job immediately if needed
  • Report the incident to Pro Support
